What you’ll do
- Support execution of the private markets product strategy, including development, launch, amendment and closure of funds and strategies across all offering vehicles, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives and financial targets.
- Lead and contribute to end-to-end product delivery, including scoping, planning, governance tracking, risk management and coordination of cross-functional working groups to ensure timely and successful execution.
- Partner closely with Investments, Distribution and wider business functions to deliver product development and management plans for private market real asset strategies.
- Present at product governance committees, Legal & General committees and fund or legal entity boards, providing clear updates on performance, risks and product developments.
- Ensure robust product governance, regulatory compliance and lifecycle management, including ongoing product reviews, commercial viability assessments and identification of opportunities for enhancement, merger or closure.
- Act as a subject matter expert in private markets, providing technical input on product structures, regulation, market positioning and competitor landscape, while maintaining strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
What you bring
- 5-7 years’ experience within asset management, ideally in product, investments or fund management roles with direct exposure to private markets.
- Strong knowledge of private markets, with experience in infrastructure and/or private credit strategies preferred.
- Experience with UK and Luxembourg fund structures, including cross-border product design and implementation.
- Proven governance experience, including participation in product committees and interaction with senior stakeholders and boards.
- Investment management qualification required (IMC minimum), with CFA or CAIA highly desirable.
