We’re recruiting for a Senior Finance Manager to join us on a fixed‑term contract until Oct 2027. We’re offering a competitive base salary. This role plays a key part in ensuring high‑quality financial accounting, reporting and finance data delivery during a period of maternity cover. You will combine hands‑on expertise with oversight and coordination, working collaboratively across Finance, Data and the wider business in an environment of ongoing change. What you’ll be doing:

  • Planning, coordinating and delivering core financial accounting and reporting activity
  • Providing senior review, challenge and guidance across reconciliations, estimates, controls and reporting outputs
  • Managing day‑to‑day finance activity to ensure accurate, timely and high‑quality financial information
  • Overseeing the Finance Data Delivery Solution and setting priorities for finance data outputs
  • Coordinating and managing outsourced data engineers and finance data delivery activity
  • Supporting finance change initiatives by assessing impacts and contributing to testing and implementation
  • Working closely with stakeholders across Finance, Actuarial, Data, Systems and Risk teams
  • Promoting strong controls, governance and fair customer outcomes across finance activity

Who we’re looking for:

  • A qualified accountant with strong technical accounting experience in a complex environment
  • Experience delivering and reviewing financial accounting and reporting outputs to deadlines
  • Confidence working with finance data, systems or reporting platforms
  • A strong understanding of financial controls, governance and audit interaction
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate across different teams
  • Clear communication skills with the confidence to provide constructive challenge
  • A collaborative mindset with a flexible and adaptable approach to change
  • Experience within insurance, retirement, asset management or a similar regulated environment is welcomed
