We’re recruiting for 2 payroll consultants to join our team in Hove. You will be completing the smooth transition of pensioner payroll to L&G from the previous payers, payroll alterations and Buy-In payment reconciliations ensuring accuracy and timeliness. This is an excellent opportunity to get into the financial sector; we are keen to speak to junior, entry level graduates with a maths background, and we can provide the training!
- Loading immediate annuitant schemes and amendments on to the pensioner periodic payment system via the mainframe or P60 as appropriate.
- Managing buy-in payments including those loaded to ALPS and those calculated on spreadsheets, making sure all payments and true up calculations are completed accurately and within the agreed timescales.
- Providing ongoing support to brokers, scheme Trustees and individual members for small, simple schemes & understanding the end-to-end journey of a Defined Benefit Pension Risk scheme by gaining a holistic view across the wider team.
- Ensuring that benefits loaded to systems and buy in payments made match those detailed in the benefit specification.
- Supporting in the testing and documenting of all processes to ensure that all are appropriate and consistent.
- Ensuring all internal customers and any relevant third parties are kept updated in a timely fashion.
- Learning and then managing a Buy In scheme in line with the Benefit Specification, to ensure that we meet our customers’ needs.
- Supporting the management of buy-in payments, including those loaded to appropriate internal systems and those calculated on spreadsheets, making sure all payments and true up calculations are completed accurately and within the agreed timescales to ensure that Trustees have the required funds to make payments to the customers.
Qualifications
We are looking for a recent maths graduate (university or college) looking for their first role in financial services, payroll, HR or pensions. Here are some of the benefits we offer:
