You’ll provide technical and analytical support to advisers, ensuring recommendations are well-researched, compliant, and aligned with client needs. What you’ll be doing:

  • Preparing clear and compliant suitability reports tailored to client circumstances
  • Conducting research across pensions, investments, protection, and tax planning
  • Analysing client data and risk profiles to inform advice strategies
  • Collaborating with advisers to refine recommendations and clarify client needs
  • Ensuring all advice meets FCA requirements and internal compliance standards
  • Supporting advisers with technical input and evidence-based solutions
  • Explaining our approach to financial advice and ensuring clients understand recommendations
  • Contributing to process improvements and maintaining high governance standards

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a paraplanning role producing accurate, compliant reports
  • Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, protection, and tax planning
  • Awareness of FCA regulations, including COBS and Consumer Duty principles
  • Ability to interpret client data and communicate technical concepts clearly
  • Skilled in using financial planning tools and CRM systems (e.g., Intelligent Office)
  • Proven ability to build rapport with advisers and clients
  • Exposure to cashflow modelling and standard planning scenarios
  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (CII or equivalent experience) is desirable
