As a global investor, we are present where our clients most need us - from Hong Kong and Singapore to Chicago and major European financial hubs.

As a Fund Oversight Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our fund valuation processes. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse range of fund types and contribute to the continuous improvement of our oversight framework.

What you will be doing:

  • Overseeing daily and weekly unit price validation across SICAV, UCITS ICAV, QIAIF ICAV, CCF, Liquidity, ETF, CIT, and Pooled Funds, using tolerance checks and benchmark comparisons to ensure pricing accuracy.
  • Undertaking operational controls by ensuring third-party administrators receive timely and accurate data for fund valuations, and monitoring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
  • Maintaining operational relationships within L&G Asset Management and across outsourced relationships, ensuring that each performs their duty in accordance with regulatory guidelines, liaising with fund managers, operational teams, and associated stakeholders to ensure swift and accurate resolution of issues.
  • Investigating and communicating the cause of breaches, proposing enhancements to current processes to mitigate risks to outsourced products, and ensuring a tight Root Cause effectiveness programme is in place.
  • Reviewing third-party performance data, coordinating fund manager approvals, and delivering accurate performance reporting to internal stakeholders.
  • Completing monthly oversight of Third Party Administrator produced performance returns, the subsequent fund manager approval process, and the delivery of data to internal stakeholders.
  • Supporting cross-functional collaboration between oversight teams in London and Cardiff, ensuring consistent processes and shared knowledge across locations.

Who we are looking for:

  • Strong knowledge of SICAV, UCITS ICAV, QIAIF ICAV, CCF, Liquidity, ETF with good knowledge of Unit Trusts, OEIC, ACS, CIT, and Pooled Funds.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory standards for pricing and valuations within the UK and internationally.
  • Demonstrate technical product oversight experience and guidance on fund investments.
  • Strong knowledge of the outsourced fund ranges, the financial markets in which they operate, and financial instruments.
  • A strong understanding of fund valuations and the components.
  • A strong understanding of supplier relationships.
  • IOC Levels 1-3 or equivalent qualifications (beneficial but not essential).

Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you. Here are some of the benefits we offer:

  • The opportunity to participate in our annual, performance-related bonus plan and valuable share schemes.
  • Generous pension contribution.
  • Life assurance.
  • Healthcare Plan (permanent employees only).
  • At least 25 days holiday, plus public holidays, 26 days after 2 years' service. There’s also the option to buy and sell holiday.
  • Competitive family leave.
  • Participate in our electric car scheme, which offers employees the option to hire a brand-new electric car through tax-efficient salary sacrifice (permanent employees only).
  • Discounts for our own products and at a range of high street stores and online.
  • Our offices are great spaces to connect and collaborate and have your wellbeing at the heart.

At L&G, we believe it’s possible to generate positive returns today while helping to build a better future for all. If you join us, you’ll be part of a welcoming, inclusive culture, with opportunities to collaborate with people of diverse backgrounds, views, and experiences. Guided by leaders with integrity who care about your future and wellbeing. Empowered through initiatives which support people to develop their careers and excel.

We care passionately about outcomes rather than attendance and are therefore open to discussing all kinds of flexible working options including part-time, term-time, and job shares. Although some roles have limited flexibility due to customer demand, we accommodate requests when we can.

It doesn’t matter if you don’t meet every single criterion in this advert. Instead, think about what you excel at and what else you can bring in terms of strengths, potential, and connection to our purpose.
