As a Senior Cash Management Specialist you will have senior oversight of the outsourced functions for Cash & Stock reconciliations, overdrafts, interest claims and other cash‑related functions. You will work collaboratively within the team, demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, and deliver excellent client service.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and improve a strong reconciliation oversight function leveraging data and MI.
- Liaise daily with internal teams and external counterparties to address general cash‑related queries.
- Own and resolve high‑value, high‑risk, and sensitive client breaks accurately and in a timely manner.
- Oversee outsourced overdraft processes, improve overdraft monitoring to reduce overdrafts and associated costs, and manage interest claims for fails, overdrafts and CSDR penalty fees.
- Ensure adherence to relevant guidelines and regulations, including ISITC, CSDR and CASS.
- Manage tasks end‑to‑end, investigate and resolve issues, and report inconsistencies as appropriate.
- Review processes to identify potential improvements, ensuring a well‑controlled environment and reducing errors.
- Support the team with day‑to‑day operational issues and anomalies to uphold elevated customer service and accurate transactions.
Qualifications:
- Proven cash management experience in a lead or senior Middle Office or Operations role.
- Familiarity with an Outsource provider operating model.
- Experience of challenging working practices and adaptability to change.
- Proven ability to leverage AI tools to improve efficiency, automate tasks, enhance analysis and deliver accurate, high‑quality management reporting; ability to understand issues and find innovative solutions.
- Custody/Nostro reconciliation experience.
- Evidence of effective working relationships with stakeholders and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of relevant guidelines and regulations.
- Knowledge of an Order Management system such as Charles River is an advantage.
