We’re recruiting for a Client Relationship Executive to provide an efficient and effective service and sales support service to one or more Client Relationship Managers and their portfolio of wholesale and institutional clients. This role will focus on Middle East, African and Italian markets.
What you’ll be doing:
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as the first point of contact and providing sales support on behalf of the Country Head, Client Directors and Sales Managers.
- Owning and coordinating the resolution of client enquiries, liaising across the business and escalating to Client Directors or Sales Managers where appropriate.
- Providing high-level technical support, understanding client decision-making processes and objectives, answering complex queries and identifying risks and opportunities.
- Supporting sales activity by coordinating meetings, following up on client interactions and identifying opportunities to share with Investment Sales Managers.
- Building and maintaining deep knowledge of the L&G Asset Management fund range (including ETFs, ICAVs and SICAVs), alongside broader market, economic trends and competitor landscape.
- Preparing and delivering high-quality materials, including meeting packs, pitch content, client reporting, legal documentation and investment data.
- Collaborating and project-managing cross-functional input to deliver client requests, data queries and change initiatives through to completion in line with expectations.
- Embedding a strong internal culture by fostering relationships across the business, demonstrating L&G Asset Management values and promoting a risk-aware environment aligned to Consumer Duty and client outcomes.
Who we’re looking for:
- Strong overall investment knowledge including an understanding of the different investment vehicle options.
- Experience within the investment management industry including providing an exceptional level of client service and sales support.
- Demonstrable track record of dealing with external clients and building significant relationships with external contacts up to and including senior levels.
- Institutional and wholesale clients experience.
- Knowledge of current investment market and economic issues.
- European language skills, in particular Italian would be beneficial.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills.
