Join Legal & General Asset Management as the new Head of Product Governance, leading a high‑impact team shaping the future of our product lifecycle strategy. This senior leadership role sits at the heart of our Asset Management business, influencing product governance across a diverse range of investment capabilities and jurisdictions.
Responsibilities- Lead the strategic management of product lifecycle governance across key product vehicles.
- Build and develop a high‑performing, inclusive team that values flexibility and excellence.
- Oversee product launches, amendments and closures in line with commercial priorities.
- Coordinate with legal, compliance and fund boards to meet governance obligations.
- Allocate and monitor seed capital in line with strategic investment plans.
- Embed responsible investment and regulatory change initiatives into product governance.
- Engage operational teams and service providers to ensure smooth delivery and oversight.
- Represent LGIM at governance committees, fund boards and industry panels.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and influence across teams.
- Strong knowledge of pooled product structures across multiple jurisdictions.
- Experience in product strategy, development and lifecycle management.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including board‑level interaction.
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and governance standards.
- High attention to detail with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Professional qualifications such as IMC, CFA or CAIA (or equivalent) desirable.
- Commitment to delivering good customer outcomes and embedding Consumer Duty principles.
