ETF Capital Markets Associate in London

L&G Asset Management is looking to hire a highly motivated and detail-oriented ETF Capital Markets Analyst to join the Global Trading & Liquidity Management team. The primary focus of this role is to support the Head of ETF Capital Markets in the day-to-day operations of the ETF Capital Markets function. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to both primary and secondary ETF markets, contribute to market surveillance, and assist in managing relationships with ecosystem partners.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting the Head of ETF Capital Markets in monitoring ETF primary market activity, assisting with queries from authorised participants.
• Monitoring secondary market spreads, quotes and trading volumes of the L&G ETF range and improve existing market surveillance toolkit.
• Helping maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external ecosystem partners such as authorised participants, liquidity providers and exchanges.
• Supporting and collaborating with distribution to assist in new business opportunities and meetings with existing clients.
• Partnering with investment teams, product and distribution to effectively launch and support new ETFs.
• Providing research and analysis on primary market flows, market trends, market structure and themes in the ETF market.
• Supporting the visibility of the L&G ETF business.

Qualifications

Who we’re looking for:

• Educated to degree level, with a strong academic background, ideally in finance, economics, or a related field.
• Experience in financial markets, asset management, or trading environment. ETF Capital Markets experience preferred.
• You’ll have genuine interest in ETFs, capital markets, and investment management with experience in developing and maintaining ETF dashboards, reporting, or analytical tools.
• Good analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to handle and interpret data.
• Exceptional attention to detail coupled with the ability to multi-task and prioritise multiple assignments in an agile team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Teamwork orientated with ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organisation.
