We’re recruiting for an Automation Test Lead to join our Retail Technology team. We’re offering a competitive base salary.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading the delivery of automated testing across multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Developing, configuring and maintaining scalable and robust automation frameworks
  • Collaborating with engineers, product and delivery teams to align testing with user stories and risks
  • Driving continuous improvement by exploring and applying new automation tools and techniques
  • Producing clear and meaningful reporting on test progress, coverage and outcomes
  • Coaching and mentoring colleagues to build confidence and capability in automation testing
  • Identifying opportunities to increase the value and effectiveness of automation in Agile and DevOps environments
  • Championing quality, customer outcomes and conduct risk in all testing activities

Who we’re looking for:

  • Experience leading or delivering test automation in complex delivery environments
  • Knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Protractor or similar
  • Experience working with continuous integration and version control tools such as Jenkins and GitHub
  • Understanding of modern testing approaches including BDD and TDD
  • Experience working within Agile or Scrum teams alongside multidisciplinary roles
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
  • Confidence in coaching, mentoring or supporting others in developing testing skills
  • Clear and inclusive communication skills with the ability to work
