We are looking for a Junior Information Security Analyst to join us in Hove, where you will play a key role in safeguarding our organisation’s digital assets. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in cybersecurity while contributing to the protection of critical systems and data. You will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining exposure to security governance, vulnerability management, and incident response in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:- Managing penetration testing programmes and coordinating end-to-end testing activities
- Monitoring and identifying vulnerabilities using security tools and tracking remediation progress
- Participating in incident response activities and supporting containment and recovery efforts
- Assisting with governance, risk, and compliance processes including audits and policy reviews
- Supporting the development and delivery of security awareness initiatives across the business
- Collaborating with internal teams and third-party suppliers to resolve security issues
- Reviewing alerts from security monitoring tools and creating use cases for improvements
- Contributing to the maintenance of security documentation and response playbooks
- Knowledge of common application vulnerabilities and secure development practices
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST or similar
- Exposure to tools like Qualys, WIZ, AWS or Azure security technologies
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when assessing risks and vulnerabilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Relevant education or certifications (e.g., CISMP, Security+) would be a huge plus!
