We’re recruiting for an Investment Reporting Analyst to join our Client focused reporting team, responsible for interacting with clients and client teams to create bespoke reports. You will be a key subject matter expert discussing the client’s reporting requirements related to their investment strategy. This role sits within a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.
What you’ll be doing:
- Owning and managing the end‑to‑end production and timely delivery of accurate daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly client reporting, including investment reports, regulatory reporting, ad‑hoc requests, and routine reporting tasks.
- Overseeing and owning the collation and timely delivery of client data, ensuring adherence to SLA/IMA agreements, regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Solving client requirements by collaborating with relationship teams, product specialists and investment support functions to define scalable processes and enhance the client experience.
- Demonstrating strong investment management technical knowledge and a detailed understanding of L&G Asset Management’s products, brand, competitors, clients, decision‑making processes and long‑term objectives.
- Transforming and manipulating large, complex data sets to support bespoke client requirements.
- Representing client reporting and service capabilities internally and externally, partnering with Client Service Solutions and relationship teams to align with client strategy and deliver tailored solutions.
- Attending and contributing to client review calls and onboarding meetings, addressing reporting and strategy queries while capturing requirements and showcasing client‑focused expertise.
- Project managing ad‑hoc queries, data requests and client changes in collaboration with business stakeholders, ensuring delivery aligns with client expectations.
Who we’re looking for:
- Strong experience working with large data sets, preferably from an investment management background but not essential.
- A desire to question the status quo and work on your own initiative, showing good investigative skills and strong problem‑solving ability when complex queries arise.
- Good experience in managing external and internal stakeholders, building significant relationships with contacts up to and including senior levels.
- Significant attention to detail and ability to demonstrate high levels of accuracy and thoroughness.
- Proficient IT skills, primarily with MS Excel and PowerPoint (VBA, Python, Power BI and SQL plus but not essential).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
