Investment Operations Initiative Delivery Lead - Collateral

Legal & General (L&G) is a leading UK financial services group and major global investor. We’re recruiting for an Investment Operations Initiative Delivery Lead to support the successful delivery of operating model change across Collateral Services within Investment Operations. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality, scalable solutions that enable Investment Operations to adapt and grow in support of L&G’s global asset management products and clients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fit‑for‑purpose solutions through design, build, testing, and operational readiness, supporting Investment Operations teams in adopting new processes.
• Deliver largely outsourced global operational solutions aligned to market, regulatory, and internal requirements within agreed timelines.
• Proactively partner with L&G stakeholders, outsourced providers, and third parties to ensure service quality, controls, and business needs are met.
• Collaborate with the wider team to track, mitigate, and elevate risks and issues, driving timely resolution where required.
• Align approaches across multiple stakeholders and elevate to business leadership as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise and change experience across Investment Operations and wider L&G teams to resolve issues and design challenges innovatively.
• Play a lead role in defining testing approaches, supporting CUAT, operational readiness, hyper‑care, and production issue resolution.
• Build strong partnerships with service providers and vendors, driving continuous improvement, ensuring regulatory compliance, and sharing relevant market insights internally.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in asset management and investment operations, with a strong understanding of service‑recipient needs and expectations.
• Extensive experience working with operational teams supporting collateral management and delivering operating model change.
• Strong knowledge of outsourced operational services, including service delivery models, client expectations, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Experience delivering solutions aligned to robust risk and control frameworks.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, contributing effectively within large teams and complex change programmes.
• Strong prioritisation, problem‑solving, organisational, and decision‑making skills, with sound independent judgment.
• Flexibility and resilience in fast‑paced, changeable environments, with the ability to manage multiple and conflicting demands.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex messages clearly to a range of audiences.
