Job Description
We’re currently hiring an Interest and Claims Specialist to join L&G Asset Management.
As an Interest and Claims specialist, you’ll handle all Interest Claim and Overdraft duties, including CSDR penalty fees, ensuring high-quality and accurate work daily. You will support the wider team by addressing queries promptly.
What you’ll be doing:
- Completing Overdraft and Interest Claim tasks daily; monitoring overdrafts, charges, and interest claims from custodians and brokers; investigating root causes; managing proactively for timely resolution.
- Monitoring CSDR Penalty Fees related to failed trades to establish root cause and liability.
- Maintaining an interest claims database, ensuring records are accurate and comments are up-to-date.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines and regulations such as ISITC, CSDR, CASS.
- Producing MI and other reports as needed.
- Managing tasks end-to-end, investigating issues, resolving problems, and reporting inconsistencies.
- Reviewing processes for potential improvements to reduce errors and ensure control.
- Understanding how team tasks relate to overall processes, applying standard procedures consistently.
- Collaborating within the team to meet daily goals, adhering to deadlines, and delivering high standards. Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability, providing excellent client service, and covering for team members in reconciliation tasks.
