We’re recruiting for a Senior Payroll Consultant to join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on precision, collaboration, and delivering excellent outcomes for customers.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Loading complex and large annuitant schemes onto administration systems
  • Managing buy-in payments and true‑up calculations with accuracy and timeliness
  • Ensuring benefits and payments align with benefit specifications
  • Checking and signing off member correspondence prepared by colleagues
  • Testing and documenting processes to meet client requirements
  • Creating and following processes that maintain a full audit trail
  • Supporting and training less experienced team members in new processes
  • Communicating key updates to internal teams and third parties to support excellent customer outcomes

Who we’re looking for:

  • Pension qualification (e.g. CII or PMI) or equivalent experience
  • Payroll qualification (e.g. CPP) or demonstrable experience
  • Strong understanding of defined benefit pension schemes
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation including GDPR and Treating Customers Fairly
  • Confidence working with data in Excel and using a range of functions
  • Experience loading data and benefits to administrative systems
  • Ability to prioritise and plan across tasks and projects
  • A customer‑focused approach with strong communication skills
