Job Description

Your role at a glance

The Workplace Savings Product team are responsible for the development, ongoing maintenance and governance of Legal & General’s market-leading UK Defined Contribution (DC) workplace pension and retail savings products. They create solutions that meet customer needs while delivering commercial value for clients and shareholders. Their work helps millions of people plan and save for the future, enabling them to enjoy a secure and fulfilling retirement. The team enable employers, trustees and advisers to meet auto-enrolment requirements with competitively priced, high-quality products that evolve with the changing pension and savings landscape. We also provide direct-to-consumer saving solutions through our Personal Pension and Stocks & Shares Individual Savings Account (ISA).

What you’ll be doing

  • Support the development and management of Workplace Savings funds to ensure compliance with processes and policies, while keeping our proposition aligned with customer needs and objectives.
  • Staying up to date with the Workplace Savings fund proposition and understanding the impact of legislative and regulatory changes.
  • Supporting data reporting activities, including responsible investment reporting, and ensuring internal systems reflect any updates.
  • Analysing corporate actions, pricing errors, and other fund-related activities, driving operational actions and coordinating necessary communications.
  • Assisting with regular value-for-money assessments across all products and propositions, and escalating any concerns to enable timely action.
  • Following the Risk Management Framework by reviewing and managing identified risks in partnership with Operational Risk and other colleagues.
  • Maintaining a central library of product and proposition developments to demonstrate compliance with internal and regulatory policies and processes.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders involved in the day-to-day operation of Workplace Savings funds.
  • Managing the team’s internal mailbox by responding to queries and escalating where necessary, helping you quickly gain a broad understanding of the role.
