Job Description
We’re recruiting for a Fund Controller (Living) to join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary and a 12% car allowance.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the financial strategy of residential property funds, including build-to-rent, affordable housing, and student accommodation. You’ll work closely with fund managers, investors, and third-party providers to deliver strong financial outcomes and support the growth of innovative investment products.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting fund and asset management teams in delivering fund strategy and structuring transactions
- Providing financial planning, budgeting, and stress testing to promote value for investors
- Reviewing and signing off high-risk financial outputs from outsourced administrators
- Ensuring accurate and timely financial and regulatory reporting
- Advising on financial performance indicators and risk mitigation strategies
- Acting as a trusted adviser to internal stakeholders on fund-related financial matters
- Leading financial input into onboarding new products, assets, and suppliers
- Presenting financial insights to internal boards and external investors
Qualifications: Who we’re looking for:
- A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Strong experience in private markets or real assets fund finance
- In-depth knowledge of UK residential property funds and fund structures
- Proficiency in fund accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
- Ability to analyze financial performance and communicate insights clearly
- Experience working with third-party administrators and internal stakeholders
- Confidence in presenting to senior stakeholders and external clients
- A collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
