This role sits with Legal & General Affordable Homes, a forward-looking ambitious affordable housing business within Real Assets Private Markets. Affordable Housing is a key component of the Legal and General Private Markets growth strategy.
What you'll do
- Oversee rental income and liaise with operations to understand and analyse movements
- Prepare and analyse direct cost reporting, contributing to quarterly board discussions
- Handle prepayments, amortised costs, and underwritten rent calculations
- Support accurate posting, reconciliations and arrears management for rental receipts
- Deliver detailed analysis for fund entities to enable stakeholder decisions
- Assist accounts payable team with weekly payment runs
What you bring
- Part-qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent)
- Strong reconciliations experience
- Knowledge and experience with accruals and pre-payments
- Experience working with large volumes of finance data with advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic corporate environment and meet group deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Experience in the property sector is advantageous but not essential
