We are seeking a motivated and aspiring Quality Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will build on your emerging software testing skills to validate new features, identify defects, and contribute to improving our ways of working. Through hands‑on learning and collaboration, you will help deliver reliable, high‑quality software that creates real value for our customers.
What you’ll be doing:
- Continuously developing your skills and capability by undertaking relevant training and learning opportunities within your quality engineering discipline.
- Contributing as part of a collaborative engineering team to test features, identify defects, and help deliver high‑quality outcomes for our customers.
- Participating in feature refinement activities to ensure quality is embedded early and solutions are well understood before development begins.
- Supporting code review activities to help maintain high standards of quality, reliability, and alignment with defined customer outcomes.
- Actively engaging in team meetings to share knowledge, stay informed, and contribute to continuous improvement across the team.
- Providing clear and timely updates, and working closely with team members to support smooth and effective delivery of development activities.
- Collaborating openly across disciplines to promote quality, consistency, and shared ownership of outcomes.
- Supporting the team in ensuring all customers and stakeholders are treated fairly and consistently, in line with Legal & General’s Customer Experience principles and Consumer Duty commitments.
Who we’re looking for:
- Experience working in a quality‑focused or closely related role, with exposure to software delivery or engineering environments.
