Job Description
We\’re recruiting for a Distribution Manager to join our Public Markets Distribution team, focusing on our Solutions business area.
What you\’ll be doing:
- Collaborating with the Head of Solutions Distribution and investment stakeholders on sales, product development, and strategy across LDI, B&M credit, derivative overlays, and FM/OCIO (with a preferred focus on the latter).
- Managing a pipeline of new business, owning the full sales cycle, and partnering with investment and client teams for coordination and messaging.
- Partnering with internal and external stakeholders, including consultants and trustees, to retain and extend ratings.
- Developing a deep understanding of L&G\’s clients, products, and services to facilitate meaningful conversations with clients and consultants.
- Supporting the execution of sales plans across regional channels and institutional investor types.
- Deepening understanding of L&G\’s offerings to lead client and consultant discussions on our unique propositions.
Qualifications
Who we\’re looking for:
- Proven experience in investment/asset management, ideally with sales exposure.
- Strong knowledge of OCIO / FM from a sales and/or investment perspective, with good understanding of LDI, B&M, and derivative overlays.
- Knowledge of current investment markets and economic issues.
- Established network with external investment consultants and trustees, with a desire to expand it.
- Awareness of the global institutional client landscape and their needs.
- Ability to address questions from consultants directly and with support.
- Consultancy skills, including scoping client requirements.
- Ability to adapt communication style for diverse audiences, with a focus on clarity and simplicity.
