We’re currently recruiting for an Onboarding Calculations Consultant to join our Award Winning PRT business. As an Onboarding Calculations Consultant, you’ll apply your expertise in Defined Benefit Pension schemes to support new and ongoing client services tasks. What you’ll be doing:
- Providing manual calculations and claims support for Defined Benefit Pension schemes
- Drafting clear communications to members and third‑party intermediaries
- Calculating accurate quotations and ensuring compliance with benefit specifications
- Authorising payments and updating systems for non-standard schemes
- Acting as a technical expert and point of contact for sensitive or priority schemes
- Setting up and maintaining scheme records and resolving anomalies
- Following standard operating procedures and maintaining audit trails
- Communicating key updates to internal teams and third parties
Qualifications:
- Holding a pension qualification such as CII or PMI, or equivalent experience
- Understanding Defined Benefit Pension schemes and their administration
- Demonstrating knowledge of relevant legislation including GDPR and Consumer Duty
- Showing strong attention to detail and technical accuracy
- Managing priorities and working effectively to tight deadlines
- Communicating clearly and empathetically with a range of stakeholders
- Maintaining a customer‑focused approach in all interactions
- Taking initiative to reduce risks and improve processes
