We’re looking for an experienced and relationship‑focused Claims Relationship Manager to join our Group Protection Claims team. Offering a salary of up to £56,000 depending on experience. In this role, you’ll manage a portfolio of key accounts, delivering a proactive and high‑quality claims service while building strong relationships with clients, advisers and stakeholders. This is a great opportunity to combine your technical claims expertise with relationship management, influencing outcomes and making a real impact on customer experience.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing and assessing Group Protection claims within a defined portfolio, making fair and balanced decisions on liability.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with IFAs, employers and external partners.
  • Delivering a high-quality account management service across pre and post-sale activity.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to provide insight and performance data on schemes.
  • Supporting sales and retention activity through presentations and stakeholder engagement.
  • Authorising claim payments, medical evidence and rehabilitation support within agreed authority levels.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, service delivery and customer outcomes.
  • Mentoring and supporting colleagues to develop capability across the team.

Who we're looking for:

  • Strong experience in claims assessment, ideally within Group Protection.
  • Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to make sound, balanced decisions using analytical thinking.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good understanding of regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Experience using insight and data to inform decisions and improve performance.
  • Proactive and customer‑focused approach to delivering outcomes.
  • Interest in developing further technical expertise within claims and protection products.
