We’re looking for a Client Onboarding Executive to join our team within L&G’s Client Service Operations. You’ll play a key role in supporting clients investing in our segregated and bespoke fund vehicles, helping deliver a smooth, well‑coordinated onboarding experience. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across the business, develop a broad understanding of investment products and structures, and make a meaningful impact for our clients. If you’re proactive, organised and motivated by delivering high‑quality outcomes, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing:
- Coordinating end‑to‑end onboarding activity for new and existing segregated client mandates
- Project managing onboarding events and supporting the implementation of changes to client accounts
- Communicating progress clearly with internal and external stakeholders and running working‑group discussions
- Building strong working relationships across business areas and developing a broad understanding of how they operate
- Acting as an onboarding consultant, mapping out milestones and supporting clients’ decision‑making processes
- Applying and helping to improve processes to support a risk‑controlled and compliant operating environment
- Providing day‑to‑day and strategic support to Client Onboarding Managers
- Contributing to wider project activity, including programmes focused on optimising onboarding processes
Qualifications - Who we’re looking for:
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- A collaborative, team‑focused approach alongside the confidence to work independently when needed
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality work
- A proactive mindset with the ability to use initiative and solve problems constructively
- Computer literacy, including competence across Microsoft Office tools
- An interest in investment management and willingness to develop knowledge of investment products, markets and regulation
- Experience in project management, client onboarding or financial services (desirable but not essential)
Benefits:
- The opportunity to participate in our annual, performance‑related bonus plan and valuable share schemes
- Generous pension contribution
- Life assurance
- Healthcare Plan (permanent employees only)
- At least 25 days holiday, plus public holidays, 26 days after 2 years’ service. There’s also the option to buy and sell holiday
- Competitive family leave
- Participate in our electric car scheme, which offers employees the option to hire a brand‑new electric car through tax‑efficient salary sacrifice (permanent employees only)
- There are the many discounts we offer – both for our own products and at a range of high street stores and online
- We’re creating net‑zero carbon workplaces by 2030 by investing in our sustainable, modern offices across the UK, all designed to bring people together and elevate the in‑person experience
At L&G, we believe it's possible to generate positive returns today while helping to build a better future for all. Guided by leaders with integrity who care about your future and wellbeing. Empowered through initiatives which support people to develop their careers and excel. We care passionately about outcomes rather than attendance and are therefore open to discussing all kinds of flexible working options including part‑time, term‑time and job shares. Although some roles have limited flexibility due to customer demand, we accommodate requests when we can. It doesn’t matter if you don’t meet every single criterion in this advert.
