Join a collaborative and forward-thinking investment team as a Quantitative Developer - Assistant Portfolio Manager. A fantastic opportunity where you'll help the Rates & Inflation team generate more alpha by streamlining portfolio management processes. You'll be developing and maintaining robust systems for managing portfolios whilst supporting Senior Portfolio Managers and Strategists in developing macroeconomic views.

What you'll be doing:

  • Developing and maintaining robust systems for monitoring and trading interest rate and inflation risk
  • Supporting portfolio implementation through active view execution and fund rebalancing
  • Monitoring fund performance and recommending improvements to portfolio strategies
  • Researching and developing analytical tools to assess market trends and portfolio performance
  • Enhancing investment decisions through innovative risk analysis and quantitative modelling
  • Applying coding expertise to automate complex tasks using diverse data sources
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory, risk, and ESG requirements
  • Contributing to a culture of integrity, collaboration, and client-focused outcomes

Who we're looking for:

  • Demonstrating strong coding skills, particularly in Python
  • Possessing a deep understanding of fixed income mathematics
  • Applying statistical knowledge to large datasets for quantitative analysis
  • Bringing experience in financial modelling and automation
  • Experience using Python to automate complex tasks using data from multiple sources
  • Understanding global macroeconomic trends and their investment implications
  • Having experience in fixed income markets and instruments
  • Committed to high standards of conduct, integrity, and continuous improvement
  • Holding a degree-level qualification, with CFA or similar credentials being advantageous
