Job DescriptionWe are looking for an ALM Analyst to support daily and ad hoc ALM requests as well as the regular weekly information used for asset and liability decisions across Institutional Retirement Finance. This is a hands-on analytical role for someone who enjoys dependable delivery, can spot when numbers do not look right and wants to improve how reporting is produced. You do not need to be an actuary. We are open to candidates from finance, investments, insurance, pensions, operations or other data-led environments.What you'll be doing:Running the regular weekly ALM MI process and responding accurately to daily or ad hoc ALM requestsChecking outputs for reasonableness and escalating unusual or unexpected resultsPreparing concise analysis and commentary on key movementsSupporting what-if analysis for trades, new assets, new PRT schemes and reinsurance activityMaintaining reporting controls, methodology and process documentationTroubleshooting data, model and process issues with senior supportContributing to automation and technology-enabled reporting improvementsCommunicating delivery status, risks and issues to relevant stakeholdersWho we're looking for:Experience delivering recurring analytical, finance or reporting outputs to firm deadlinesStrong Excel and data analysis skillsEvidence of checking results for reasonableness and escalating issuesA practical approach to troubleshooting and solving process problemsComfort working with code, models or automated workflowsClear communication with colleagues across different specialist teamsAttention to detail, ownership and curiosityInterest in ALM, investments, risk, insurance or pensionsWhatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
