Job Description
We’re recruiting for a Qualified Solicitor to join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary, 12% car allowance and strong benefits package.
What you’ll be doing:
- Drafting, negotiating, and amending financial services agreements related to the UK Super Manco, UK authorised funds, and unit-linked funds
- Providing legal support to the business, including supporting and advising on the structure and launch of new funds
- Drafting and reviewing investment management agreements
- Advising on legal and regulatory requirements and developments, including AIFMD and ESG rules
- Assessing and advising teams on legal risk and recommending appropriate strategies to mitigate those risks
- Monitoring events and developments that could have legal implications for the UK business
Qualifications
Who we’re looking for:
- Qualified Solicitor with a current Practising Certificate
- Excellent technical knowledge of funds; private fund experience would be advantageous
- Strong understanding of UK UCITS and Alternative Investment Funds and their regulation
- Experience in structuring, launching, and amending investment funds in the UK
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to deal with senior stakeholders across the business
