Job Description

L&G Asset Management is looking to hire a highly motivated and detail‑oriented ETF Capital Markets Analyst to join the Global Trading & Liquidity Management team. The primary focus is to support the Head of ETF Capital Markets in day‑to‑day operations, gain exposure to primary and secondary ETF markets, contribute to market surveillance, and manage relationships with ecosystem partners.

What you’ll be doing

• Support the Head of ETF Capital Markets in monitoring ETF primary market activity and assisting with queries from authorised participants
• Monitor secondary market spreads, quotes and trading volumes of the L&G ETF range and improve the existing market surveillance toolkit
• Help maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external ecosystem partners such as authorised participants, liquidity providers and exchanges
• Collaborate with distribution to assist in new business opportunities and meetings with existing clients
• Partner with investment teams, product and distribution to effectively launch and support new ETFs
• Provide research and analysis on primary market flows, market trends, market structure and themes in the ETF market
• Support the visibility of the L&G ETF business

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level, with a strong academic background, ideally in finance, economics or a related field
• Experience in financial markets, asset management or trading environment; ETF Capital Markets experience preferred
• Genuine interest in ETFs, capital markets and investment management, with experience in developing and maintaining ETF dashboards, reporting or analytical tools
• Good analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to handle and interpret data
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multi‑task and prioritise multiple assignments in an agile team
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Teamwork orientated with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation
