Job Description
We’re looking for a Conduct Risk Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will assist the Conduct and Operational Risk Consultants in the monitoring and oversight of risk across Institutional Retirement and Retail.
You’ll help provide independent risk advice and guidance to the business, investigating issues and ensuring that frameworks, policies, and processes are followed. In the role you will be facing off to first line teams and will need to be able to constructively challenge and review new ideas..
What you\'ll be doing:
- Assisting with conduct and operational risk assessments for new projects, products, and services.
- Assisting in responses to significant risk events, supporting and providing objective challenge of remediation and root cause analysis.
- Supporting the analysis and implementation of regulatory changes and provide guidance to the business on the impacts of these proposals.
- Helping to manage non-financial risk frameworks and providing support for second line oversight.
- Supporting the business in managing conduct and operational risks by conducting risk and control assessments.
- Providing risk advice, guidance and training to various business units.
- Helping to prepare and distributing risk reports and management information (MI) packs.
Qualifications
Who we\'re looking for:
- Good regulatory knowledge: You understand the regulatory environment and its impact on financial services and have some experience applying regulatory rules to practical scenarios and creating compliant solutions.
- Risk Management awareness: You understand risk management principles, especially for operational, regulatory, and customer-focused risks.
- Analysis & Reporting: You are detail oriented and have some experience in preparing reports for management, including data analysis and MI reporting, scheduling, and coordination with multiple parties.
- Risk Identification: You can identify and investigate conduct and operational risks.
- Workload Management: You can manage your own workload through interactions with the business.
- Communication & Relationship Building: You have good communication skills and the ability to build relationships and think independently.
