Overview
In this role you will support payroll and pension processes within a Defined Benefit Pension Risk scheme. You will learn to handle buy-in activities, process pension payments, and perform accurate calculations, working with internal systems and stakeholders. You contribute to a smooth end-to-end Pension Risk Transfer journey and maintain clear records. This is a training-focused entry path in payroll and pensions, with a collaborative, customer-focused culture and opportunities to grow within the business.

Responsibilities
- Learn to manage assigned buy-in scheme activities
- Process pension payment information using internal systems and spreadsheets
- Complete payment and true-up calculations within agreed timescales
- Calculate funding required by pension trustees
- Respond to enquiries from internal and external contacts
- Build understanding of end-to-end Pension Risk Transfer journey
- Maintain accurate records, filing conventions and audit trails
- Keep relevant teams and third parties updated on processing information

- Confidence working with data, numbers and detail
- Basic experience with office applications and willingness to learn new systems
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise
