Job DescriptionWe’re recruiting for a Senior Finance Analyst - Revenue to join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary. We’re looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our Asset Management Finance team in Cardiff. This is a practical, varied role covering revenue invoicing, client activity, rebate payments, month-end accounting and financial controls.You do not need to arrive knowing every system or process. We’re interested in people who can work accurately with financial information, enjoy solving problems and want to continue developing their finance career. You may already have relevant accounting experience, be working towards a qualification or bring strong transferable numerical and systems skills from another environment.What you’ll be doing:Preparing and reviewing quarterly revenue invoices for pooled clientsUpdating client fee arrangements and completing manual invoice calculationsRaising final invoices and processing encashment instructionsReviewing and processing rebate payments through banking systemsPreparing month-end journals and supporting income analysisResponding to client-related queries and working with relationship teamsInvestigating financial control issues and emerging trendsImproving processes, supporting automation and maintaining procedure documentationWho we’re looking for:An understanding of core accounting principles, gained through study or relevant experienceConfidence using Excel and working with detailed numerical informationA careful and organised approach to high-volume workThe ability to manage competing priorities and meet key deadlinesClear written and verbal communication skillsA collaborative approach and willingness to share knowledgeMotivation to learn, develop and take ownership of your workFinance or asset management experience, or progress towards ACA, ACCA or CIMA, would be helpful but is not essentialWhatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
