Overview
In this Senior Finance Analyst role, you will support financial planning, forecasting and reporting while driving data-driven insight. You’ll help simplify and automate finance processes and collaborate with data colleagues to deliver clearer analyses. The position sits within Finance, contributing to accurate financial outputs and stakeholder understanding. You’ll work across cross-functional teams to improve reporting tools and dashboards, supporting value creation for clients and shareholders. Responsibilities
- Support financial planning, forecasting and reporting activities
- Prepare, review and explain financial data for stakeholders
- Review data exceptions and month-end activity linked to AUM and flows
- Support monthly ANNR forecasting and distribution data requests
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate finance processes
- Collaborate with Data colleagues on automation projects, testing and implementation
- Maintain and improve reporting tools, dashboards and analysis packs
- Build trusted relationships across Finance, business stakeholders and technical teams
Key requirements
- Part-qualified accountant, pursuing ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CFA or equivalent, or demonstrable finance experience
- Experience in financial planning, analysis, reporting or management information
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data, variances and movements
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accurate, well-controlled outputs
- Clear communication skills with Finance, business and technical stakeholders
- Proficient Excel skills; Tableau, Power BI or similar reporting tools beneficial
- Interest in automation, process improvement and practical AI use in finance
- Asset Management experience helpful but not essential
