Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tableau Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and building a comprehensive set of business dashboards and reports that meet the requirements of our business. This role involves understanding and translating business needs, analysing and sourcing necessary data attributes, and creating high-quality data visualisations for both internal and external customers.
What you’ll be doing:
- Designing, developing, and deploying interactive and visually appealing Tableau dashboards and reports
- Performing data blending, data aggregation, and creating complex calculated fields in Tableau
- Ensuring data accuracy and consistency across all visualizations
- Collaborating closely with business users to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Providing training and support to end-users on Tableau functionalities
- Conducting thorough testing of Tableau dashboards and reports to ensure they meet business requirements
- Identifying and resolving any data discrepancies or visualization issues
- Documenting processes, data sources, and dashboard/report designs
Qualifications

- Extensive experience of Tableau development, including dashboard creation, report generation, and data visualisation
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL and data manipulation
- Experience with data blending, data aggregation, and creating complex calculated fields in Tableau
- Proven track record of delivering successful Tableau projects
- High analytical ability and readiness to challenge requirements and assumptions
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels
- Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
