We’re looking for a Senior Actuarial Analyst to join our multi award‑winning team who are responsible for the pricing and execution of pension de‑risking transactions. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful, long‑term financial security for pension scheme members while continuing to develop your technical expertise within a market‑leading insurer. What You’ll Be Doing
- Supervising and supporting Actuarial Analysts with the production of accurate bulk annuity and longevity quotations
- Reviewing and validating quotations while collaborating with senior colleagues on more complex/larger transactions
- Developing expertise in capital and pricing models and contributing to high‑quality quote production
- Ensuring strong governance and robust quality control throughout the quotation process
- Preparing governance documentation and drafting responses to requests for quotations and benefit specifications
- Working creatively to identify innovative solutions that meet client and market needs
- Collaborating closely with Pricing Managers and Directors to deliver excellent service
- Contributing to a positive team culture through knowledge sharing and supportive leadership
Qualifications
- A part‑qualified actuary making strong progress with IFoA exams
- Experience in actuarial modelling within pensions, life insurance, or a de‑risking environment
- Working knowledge of Defined Benefit Pension Schemes or pricing and capital modelling
- Experience working in a project or deal‑based team, including supporting junior colleagues (highly preferable)
- Strong numerical accuracy and the ability to work efficiently under time pressure
- Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organisational and time‑management capabilities
- A proactive approach to problem‑solving and continuous improvement
