Responsibilities
We’re looking for a strategic and collaborative IT Environment & Release Manager to join our Group Finance IT (GFIT) team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the way in ensuring stability, control, and efficiency across our non-production environments, while enabling smooth and secure releases.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing and supporting non-production environments across the application estate
- Defining and maintaining environment strategies, policies, and IT controls
- Coordinating environment usage, upgrades, and service levels
- Collaborating with architects to align environment design with strategic goals
- Planning and managing release windows, cycles, and deployment activities
- Advising project teams on environment configurations and best practices
- Publishing KPIs and management information on environment performance
- Monitoring incidents, analysing trends, and driving continuous improvement
Qualifications
Who we’re looking for:
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and associated tools and integration
- Knowledge of Environment and Release, Configuration and Test Management principles and policies
- Good understanding of IT infrastructure
- Knowledge of SDLC
- Prior experience in IT Environment and Release Management
- Experience/exposure to DevOps and Agile methodology
- Experience with release management tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, Plutora, GitHub, GitHub Actions
- Exposure to Source/Version control tools, CI/CD pipelines, Branching concepts
