We’re looking for a Head of Market Data Strategy to lead how we manage, commercialise and govern market data across our Asset Management business. This role sits within the Leadership Team in the Chief Data Office. You will have real influence — shaping strategy, managing key vendor relationships, and driving value from a significant data investment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Defining and delivering the market data strategy across the business
- Managing strategic relationships with key global data vendors
- Driving cost optimisation and commercial outcomes across data spend
- Leading governance, compliance, and risk management for market data usage
- Partnering with investment, technology and procurement stakeholders
- Overseeing onboarding and lifecycle management of data services
- Leading transformation initiatives across data platforms and processes
- Building and developing a high-performing market data team
Who we’re looking for:
- Strong market data experience within asset management or capital markets
- Proven track record managing major data vendors and commercial agreements
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills at senior leadership level
- Experience defining operating models and governance frameworks
- Commercial mindset with focus on value and optimisation
- Leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional delivery
- Understanding of data governance, licensing and regulatory considerations
- Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands‑on
