Job Description

We’re recruiting for a Customer Underwriting Team Manager to join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary.

What you\’ll be doing

  • Leading and coaching a team of underwriters to deliver consistent, high-quality decisions
  • Creating a culture of engagement, development and accountability
  • Contributing to planning and forecasting to ensure efficient work allocation
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicating clearly and confidently across a range of topics
  • Encouraging constructive challenge to improve customer journeys and team efficiency
  • Using performance data and observations to set expectations and track progress
  • Ensuring service levels meet customer expectations and business commitments

Qualifications

  • Communicating effectively and confidently with diverse audiences
  • Making accurate and confident decisions within authorised autonomy
  • Analysing and interpreting management information and risk data

  • Holding a CII diploma or equivalent experience (desirable)
