Support Legal Action Group’s mission to deliver high-quality events and training for the legal and advice sector. Legal Action Group (LAG) is a national charity working to improve access to justice for people who are disadvantaged or marginalised. We’re looking for a reliable and organised volunteer to support our training and events programme, helping us deliver high-impact events for legal professionals, advisers and campaigners.
About the role:
- Location: Various locations across central London
- Time commitment: As required. Roughly one day per month. Some evening availability may be required.
- Expenses: Agreed travel and meal expenses will be covered
This role offers a great opportunity to gain experience in event coordination, digital marketing, and the legal non-profit sector while contributing to events that make a real difference in people’s lives.
Key tasks include:
- Assisting at in-person events
- Managing registration when attendees arrive
- Support with room set-up
- Distributing flyers and documents to attendees
- Managing roving microphone for attendee questions at larger events
- Supporting at breaks and lunch times with tea, coffee and catering
- Directing people around the venue
- Support with managing LAG books and merch stands
