About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Public Law Solicitor to join our team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified legal professional looking to maintain a fulfilling career while enjoying work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on public law matters including judicial review, human rights issues, and regulatory challenges
- Represent clients in proceedings before courts and tribunals
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, witness statements, and legal opinions
- Engage with public bodies and government departments
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm
- Stay updated on relevant legal developments and case law
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor with proven experience in public law (+3yrs PQE)
- Strong understanding of administrative law principles and judicial review
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives
- Experience managing complex caseloads efficiently
- Experience of supervising paralegals
- Commitment to providing exceptional client service
