Legado is a high-growth B2B SaaS company helping regulated businesses send, store and sign securely. We work with leading firms across financial services and wealth, helping them modernise customer communications, document experiences and signing journeys without forcing large-scale transformation. Our platform is built for regulated use cases where security, auditability, customer experience and integration into existing journeys matter.
Our products help clients:
- deliver secure digital communications
- provide secure document storage and sharing
- streamline customer and adviser journeys
- replace manual, paper-based and fragmented processes
- improve visibility, governance and evidencing across customer interactions
The role involves hiring a Solutions Consultant to play a key role in shaping and delivering client solutions, specifically within the FNZ ecosystem. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of client delivery, business analysis, solution design and stakeholder management. You will work closely with Legado leadership, product, engineering and external partners to define solutions for enterprise clients, translate requirements into clear deliverables, and help ensure projects are delivered in a structured, commercially-aware way.
This is not a purely internal BA role. We are looking for someone who understands how to operate in complex delivery environments, can work confidently with senior stakeholders, and can bring clarity across clients, partners and technical teams. A strong understanding of FNZ, its operating environment, and how change gets delivered within that environment is essential.
What you’ll do:
- Lead discovery, analysis and solution design for new and existing client opportunities
- Contribute to solution and delivery estimation, including assessing scope, effort, sequencing and dependency impacts to support commercial proposals and realistic delivery planning.
- Run workshops with clients, partners and internal teams to understand requirements, constraints and delivery considerations
- Translate business needs into clear documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, functional designs and delivery artefacts
- Act as a bridge between commercial, product and engineering teams to make sure solutions are well-defined and practical to deliver
- Work across Legado, clients and third parties to manage dependencies, risks and open questions
- Support the shaping of integrations and client-specific implementations, particularly in regulated financial services environments
- Help structure and prioritise delivery requirements within Azure DevOps and support backlog refinement
- Bring clarity to complex processes, particularly where multiple stakeholders, systems and governance layers are involved
- Contribute to testing, implementation planning and rollout readiness where required
- Identify better ways of working and help improve Legado’s solutioning and delivery capability over time
What we’re looking for:
Essential:
- At least 3 years’ previous experience at FNZ in relevant area e.g. solution consulting, business analysis, change delivery, platform delivery, client change, product analysis or implementation
- Based in Edinburgh or surrounding areas, with the ability to work in person with the team on a hybrid basis
- Strong experience gathering, structuring and documenting requirements in a way that technical and non-technical stakeholders can understand
- Experience working with enterprise clients and multiple stakeholder groups
- Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycles and Agile ways of working
- Ability to think beyond the immediate ask and understand downstream product, delivery and client impacts
- High attention to detail and strong ownership mentality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, scale-up environment where priorities evolve and initiative matters
Highly desirable:
- Experience working with wealth, pensions, investments or wider regulated financial services
- Experience working across client, supplier and platform stakeholders
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, process modelling, workflow design and integration-led delivery
- Experience producing process flows, functional designs, sequence diagrams or similar artefacts
- Confidence in supporting testing, rollout planning and implementation activities
- Previous experience in a SaaS or product-led technology environment
How you work:
You’re likely someone who:
- Brings structure to ambiguity
- Sees through surface-level requests to the real requirement
- Is commercially aware as well as delivery-minded
- Is comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders
- Takes responsibility and follows things through
- Can switch between detail and big-picture thinking
- Enjoys solving real client and product problems
- Wants to help build a category-defining company, not just fill a role
Why join Legado?
- Work on meaningful problems for major financial services organisations
- Join a company with strong momentum, ambitious plans and real market opportunity
- Be part of a sharp, collaborative team that values autonomy, pace and high standards
- Help shape how we scale our delivery capability and client solutions function
- Hybrid working with an Edinburgh office base
- 32 days’ holiday, with flexibility around bank holidays, plus additional company policy days - Christmas, New Year's Day, birthday
- Cycle to work scheme
- Share options through Legado’s EMI scheme
- Learning and development support for courses, training and certifications
- Modern tooling and a practical, low-bureaucracy working environment
This role is Edinburgh-based / hybrid - applicants must be based in Edinburgh or within a reasonable commuting distance.
