We are now seeking a Marketing Manager to lead and execute marketing activity during a maternity cover period, maintaining momentum across digital channels and industry engagement.
About the role
Legado is seeking a hands-on, commercially minded Marketing Manager to lead and execute our marketing activity during a maternity cover period. This role is focused on delivering against a defined strategy, optimising demand generation channels, and ensuring consistent brand presence within the financial services sector. You will operate as the sole internal marketing resource, working closely with Sales, Product and commercial leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Demand Generation & Digital Performance
- Execute and optimise multi-channel campaigns across LinkedIn, email and PPC
- Manage campaign targeting, creative testing and budget allocation
- Optimise campaign messaging and targeting in line with agreed positioning and ICP
- Track and grow marketing contribution to pipeline
- Improve conversion rates across landing pages and lead capture journeys
- Content & Brand Execution
- Own and deliver the content calendar including blogs, whitepapers, case studies and thought leadership
- Maintain brand consistency across all external touchpoints
- Manage website updates with external developer
- Coordinate quarterly PR activity with agency
- Events & Industry Presence
- Own end-to-end planning and delivery of industry events, trade shows and roundtables
- Coordinate webinars in collaboration with Sales and Product
- Manage event logistics, messaging, collateral and post-event follow-up strategy
- Track event ROI, pipeline contribution and post-event engagement
- Identify relevant awards and speaking opportunities aligned to commercial goals
- Sales Enablement
- Work closely with growth team to align campaigns to revenue priorities
- Develop sales enablement materials and support outbound campaigns
- Ensure structured follow-up process post-events and campaigns
- Performance & Reporting
- Own monthly performance reporting and dashboard management
- Track MQLs, SQLs, pipeline impact and channel ROI
- Manage allocated marketing budget effectively
About You
You are a commercially minded B2B marketer who enjoys taking ownership of delivery and performance. You are confident operating independently within a scale-up environment and are comfortable executing campaigns end-to-end while collaborating closely with Sales and Product teams. You thrive in a hands-on role where consistency, organisation and measurable results matter.
Essential Skills & Experience
- 4–6+ years’ experience in B2B marketing, ideally within SaaS, fintech or a regulated industry
- Hands-on experience managing LinkedIn Ads and B2B PPC campaigns
- Strong understanding of demand generation and marketing-to-sales funnel alignment
- Experience owning campaigns from planning through to reporting and optimisation
- Confident analysing performance data and reporting on pipeline contribution
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple workstreams independently
- Comfortable working as the sole internal marketing resource
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience marketing to financial services organisations
- Experience managing industry events, trade shows or webinars
- Familiarity with longer sales cycles and account-based approaches
- Experience working with external agencies or freelancers
