We have a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Housing Manager.

You will be working within supported living and have a passion to make a difference to residents.

  • Ensuring that all requirements relating to CQC are adhered to and met.
  • To carry out the monitoring of the service to ensure that it meets the quality targets of the Company, contractual requirements of the commissioners, the NHS and CQC and external bodies.
  • To oversee and manage any issues regarding the legislative requirements concerning the services provided and the staff providing them.
  • To implement the monitoring and quality control processes under the Company’s Quality Monitoring Policy.
  • To carry out surveys, monitoring Staff performance, training and supervising Staff in Quality Control assessments.
  • To maintain accurate records of support workers and Service User’s record relevant details of all new Service User’s and support workers according to Company policy and keep all records updated and in accordance with Data Protection GDPR regulations.
  • Be able to lead with visits and assessments from CQC and external bodies.
  • Undertake or oversee risk assessments in service user’s accommodation.
  • Development and write up service users Care Plans.

Other areas of your duties will include:

  • NVQ 5 (Leadership & Management) or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years at line management level, in a similar role or professional qualification with 2 years’ relevant care setting experience
  • Full driving licence
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Team leading and housing specialist
