We have an exciting opportunity for a Cyber Security Trainer.

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Cyber Security Trainer to join our team and deliver the NCFE Level 3 Certificate in Cyber Security Practices as part of a Skills Training programme. This exciting role involves teaching single cohorts of 15–20 learners over an intensive 8-week schedule. You will be key in on-boarding learners, Information and Guidance sessions, and providing employability training alongside technical teaching. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality remote teaching sessions over an 8-week programme using MS Teams.
  • Develop and adapt curriculum content to meet learner needs and qualification standards.
  • Facilitate learner on-boarding, including ILP, IAG and Review sessions.
  • Support and motivate learners to maintain progress with their portfolio submissions.
  • Deliver post-learning employability-focused sessions to prepare learners for job applications and interviews.
  • Set up and manage Teams channels for learner portfolio access.
  • Conduct portfolio-based assessments.
  • Work alongside the IQA to complete observations and assessment sampling to ensure actions are completed in the IQA process.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Teaching Experience: Proven experience delivering the NCFE Level 3 Certificate in Cyber Security Practices. (Essential)
  • Technical Expertise: Level 4 or higher qualification in Cyber Security.
  • Education and Training: Minimum Level 3 in Education and Training (or equivalent).
  • Portfolio Management: Strong knowledge of portfolio-based assessment processes and learner motivation strategies.
  • Teams Expertise: Experience using Microsoft Teams for training delivery, including setting up and managing learner portfolio channels.
  • Engagement Skills: Ability to create a supportive, engaging, and productive remote learning environment.
