We are recruiting for an experienced Agent/Producer to join a creative agency, who have built a reputation for representing and championing exceptional creatives - from Photographers to Creative Directors. The agency works with a variety of clients, including luxury and high-street fashion, sports, editorial, advertising, entertainment and more. As their roster continues to grow, they are looking for an entrepreneurial and efficient Agent/Producer to join their London team. You will be someone who is not afraid to negotiate rates/costs and offer firm solutions to clients' expectations, all whilst remaining calm and professional with a warm manner.
Please be aware this role is an initial 6 month FTC with strong potential to go permanent for the right candidate.
Responsibilities- Artists: Manage and support the artists in their chosen direction and field. Research avenues for leads to projects and always be on the lookout for new artist opportunities. Conduct meetings for yourself and the artists with prospective clients. Keep in constant communication with the artists and their requirements for each shoot. Manage artists' schedules and travel, occasionally supporting on contract negotiation and reviews. Build strong, positive and constructive relationships with artists.
- Budgets: Manage and reconcile all levels of budget for still and motion projects, with an awareness to cost efficiencies - whilst respecting protocols, schedules, and standards that the company sets and maintaining profit margins. Ensure all budgets are signed off and agreed by the client before allowing the shoot to commence/confirming any suppliers/accruing any costs. Compile estimates and negotiate rates/budgets for each artist & job.
- Projects: Create and maintain collaborative relationships with suppliers and clients β new and current. Manage projects from initial brief, through to production, including on-set and occasionally involving travel, to final project delivery. Gather project specifications and project options (e.g., key dates, deliverables, deadlines, crew options). Manage post-production, scheduling, and final project delivery by coordinating briefs, treatments, timelines, and deliverables with fast-paced communication. Maintain a solid working knowledge of industry standards, rules, regulations, and best practices. Manage kit and crews both nationally and internationally.
- 3+ years of experience ideally as both a Producer and Agent.
- Proficient knowledge of the photography and film world.
- Ideally have an existing network of contacts within the industry.
- High level grasp of shoot management, technical processes, film crews, industry rates, standards and best practices both domestically and internationally.
- Strong negotiation and budget management skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive and reliable with a genuine interest in supporting artists and have an overall positive attitude and calm approach to all tasks.
- An ability to quickly provide alternative solutions and ideas, while remaining calm and confident under pressure.
- Knowledge of main APA / BETC rules and regulations.
- Acknowledging the role is not 9-5 and on occasion may require antisocial hours if working with NYC / LA for example.
- This will be a hybrid role working 3 days a week in the London office and the company offers flexible working hours.
