We are currently recruiting for an International Sales Director to join an established premium fashion brand. This is a 6 month contract. We’re seeking an analytical, innovative, and self-motivated individual with deep experience in international sales and management across the EMEA and APAC regions. You will be responsible for articulating and driving strategy, execution, and effectiveness for the brand. In this role, you will partner closely with finance, planning, merchandising, marketing, and operations teams. You will serve as the internal expert on your channels of business and be responsible for optimising the current distribution as well as scaling strategic new ones.
Some responsibilities:
- Scale wholesale ecommerce business through localised digital marketing efforts and marketplace expansion (e.g., Amazon, Zalando)
- Set the vision and strategy to launch, develop and manage distribution across all non-US markets (both direct and via distributors)
- Manage interdependency of a complex, cross-functional matrix (e.g., Merch, Finance, Inventory, Planning) with direct P&L responsibility
- Build and develop a team of global ambassadors who drive sales and enhance brand presence across existing and new markets, delivering authentic brand messaging and ensuring localised execution
- Drive sales growth through effective omnichannel go-to-market strategies, acting as a business partner to international retailers and distributor partners
- Build and nurture relationships with senior leadership across key international accounts and distributors
- Develop and lead execution of plans to strategically scale international direct customer base across current and future international direct markets (e.g., currently UK, Ireland and the DACH and Nordics regions)
About you:
- 7+ years international sales experience, preferably with distributor and direct wholesale management
- Proven track record of fiscal responsibility and knowledge
- Strong analytical and innovative problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to leverage data to drive impactful business results
- Experience working within the retail/fashion/skincare/luxury industry a bonus
- Ability to travel domestically and abroad
- Have an 8 week notice or less
This role is based in Central London and offers hybrid working - 3 days in the office (if not travelling) and 2 from home.
