We are recruiting for a proactive and driven Account Manager to join a luxury retail brand in Central London, who specialise in hosting private and exclusive sample sale events for a large number of luxury retail brands. You will be responsible for overseeing the full organisation of our private sales events - everything from planning and operational management to delivering post-event reports for our partner brands. As a true brand ambassador you will act as the key point of contact for our brand partners and internal teams, ensuring that every event exceeds expectations in both revenue and customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Event Planning in Collaboration with Partner Brands: Develop tailored marketing for event invitations based on customer segmentation. Analyse the product offer to optimise its appeal. Review pricing strategies and product segmentation. Plan event layouts and merchandising strategies. Set sales objectives (e.g. conversion rates and revenue) in alignment with senior management. Brief the sales team to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Event Management and Performance Monitoring: Oversee the event’s execution (layout, merchandising, staff readiness, etc.). Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue, visitor numbers, average spend, sell-through rates, and margins. Adjust strategies in real-time, collaborating with the brand to address performance gaps. Implement marketing tactics to boost conversion rates and revenue during the event. Provide daily updates and performance reports to the brand.
- Post-Event Reporting and Analysis: Compile and share detailed sales statistics with the brand. Prepare a full profit-and-loss report for the event. Deliver a comprehensive marketing review, highlighting successes and areas for improvement. Suggest strategies for future events, including formats, dates, venues, and commission rates.
WHO ARE YOU / QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS NEEDED
- At least 3 years of professional experience in purchasing, merchandising, or collection management.
- Strong knowledge of the fashion and luxury industries, with a keen eye for products and trends.
- Proven experience in purchasing and B2B client management.
- Familiarity with retail and event planning.
- Ability to handle the fast-paced nature of live events.
- Skilled in managing profit-and-loss accounts.
- Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
