Centre Manager | Towcester Centre For Leisure Permanent, full time Salary £33,000 - £42,000 This is an outstanding career opportunity with a not for profit charitable organisation committed to providing a diverse and meaningful range of leisure and culture related activities for the local communities in which we serve. Towcester Leisure Centre seeks a competent Centre Manager to oversee all aspects of operational and strategic management of this busy centre. Towcester Centre for Leisure is one of two leisure facilities in the West Northamptonshire Contract and consists of a 25m Swimming Pool, Leisure Pool with flume and wave machine, 80 plus station Health & Fitness Centre, Four Court Sports Hall, Activity Hall, Cycling Studio, All Weather pitches & Cafe facilities. An opportunity also exists for the right candidate to manage another site within the contract on a dual site basis. The Opportunity Reporting to the Area Manager, the successful candidate will take overall responsibility for the effective management and operation of the Centre, ensuring that high standards of customer service are set and maintained and financial performance targets are exceeded. Other responsibilities include: To input into and implement the strategy for the business. To manage and develop, and co-ordinate staff resources effectively to meet the operational requirements of the contract and to create a dynamic, innovative and responsive staff team through open communication and leadership. Develop, maintain and evolve good relations with existing clients. Build and maintain a sound organisational structure, recruiting, training and motivating staff within the contract. Effectively implement and monitor the company's Health & Safety policy and associated procedures. Be technically able and play a proactive role in securing new business for the company. To work alongside the contract maintenance team to ensure the centre is compliant in all aspects of facilities management and statutory compliance. The person Ideally you will have a recognised qualification in Leisure Management or educated to degree level or NVQ4.
