Leisure Operations Manager - Caernarfon, Gwynedd Plas Menai Outdoor Centre Permanent full time Salary £ £37,129.00 The primary purpose of this role is to lead, safeguard, and enhance the day to day leisure and aquatic operations at Plas Menai, the National Outdoor Centre. As Leisure Operations Manager, you will be the driving force behind keeping our facilities safe, fully operational, and commercially vibrant bringing strong leadership, operational expertise, and standards driven management to our indoor pool operations, 500 member Learn to Swim program, statutory Health and Safety compliance, and a dedicated team of approximately 20 casual staff. You will be responsible for fostering an environment that is safe, welcoming, and high performing, ensuring that whether a visitor is a young learner swimmer, an elite athlete, a residential guest, or an outdoor enthusiast, they experience seamless, high quality service and facilities. Beyond day to day operational delivery, you will act as a key guardian of site compliance, aquatic safety, and team development, working in close alignment with key local partners like Byw'n Iach. Your goal is to deliver exceptional operational integrity, customer experience, and team leadership that mirrors the excellence of our world class outdoor facilities.
