The predicted salary is between 950 - 1167 £ per month.
The cashier/stocker will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while ensuring the store remains well stocked and organized. The cashier/stocker will handle cash register operations, assist customers with purchases, verify IDs for alcohol sales, and help maintain a clean and welcoming shopping environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Follow Company’s Customer Relations Philosophy, prioritising customer needs.
- Comply with management’s directions and guidelines within company policy and procedures.
- Report all sales, cash, and/or operational discrepancies to store management.
- Prepare shift-change report at completion of shift and minimise cashier’s errors.
- Accurately post all markups, markdowns, store use of merchandise, voids, and bad merchandise write-offs.
- Advise management of any situations or policy violations affecting the store’s performance.
- Keep coolers and merchandise shelves fully stocked and fronted.
- Lift 20-50lbs as required and stand for an 8-hour shift.
- Properly clean and maintain equipment, floors, and restrooms.
- Ensure the register area is clean and free of personal belongings.
- Adhere to all cities, county, state, and federal regulations.
- Use up-selling techniques to promote products that complement customer purchases.
- Treat customers with excellent service and pleasant greetings before and after transactions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 21 years of age or older to be a cashier; 18 years of age or older to be a stocker.
- Ability to obtain a TAM and Health Card.
- Ability to obtain a Non-Gaming Card in some locations.
- Pass Drug Screen and Background Check.
