Leeper Prosser are recruiting for a Commercial and Residential Solicitor to assist with an existing case-load. This is a great opportunity to join a successful, well-established and independent firm in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire. Small enough to offer a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, the firm has ambitions to expand its offering and is situated in an area of rapid growth with excellent transport links to surrounding communities and to London, Swindon, Birmingham and Bristol. With many new residential developments underway in the area and more anticipated in the coming years there are excellent opportunities for growth and development.
The successful candidate will be personable and able to work effectively as part of the team and will ideally be circa 3+ years qualified and already CQS accredited. However, these are guidelines only and aptitude, an appetite for hard work and aspiration to progress are the main requirements.
Responsibilities- Managing residential conveyancing transactions
- Advising clients on all aspects of freehold, leasehold, sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity, first registrations
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other third parties to ensure smooth progress throughout
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining excellent client care standards
- Help maintain the firm’s strong local presence
- Experience with commercial property work would be beneficial but is not essential
- To handle a range of general commercial property law matters including but not limited to:
- Leases
- Sales and Purchases of land
- Landlord and tenant matters
- Disposals and acquisitions
- Ideally circa 3+ years qualified and CQS accredited (guidelines only)
- Aptitude, hard work, and aspiration to progress are considered most important
