The Opportunity
As one of the UK’s leading NAV providers, Leep Utilities is growing rapidly. We’re now recruiting a Water Site Supervisor to work closely with our Southern BAU Project Managers, supporting the delivery of clean water infrastructure on new residential and commercial schemes.
In this role, you’ll liaise closely and regularly with the Southern Project Managers, review client site whereabouts, and plan inspections of adoptable clean water assets. You will conduct site audits, provide regulatory guidance to developers and contractors, and support project managers in achieving snag-free, compliant asset handovers.
You’ll have the autonomy to manage your diary and work flexibly across sites in the region. This is a fantastic opportunity to support utility excellence from installation to completion, with a strong focus on compliance, communication, and safe delivery.
Key Responsibilities
General
- Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of others affected by your actions or omissions.
- Responsible for ensuring that all activities related to their BAU Water Project Delivery aligns with UK SHE legislation and any regulatory licence obligations, whilst also following all Leep SHEQ policies and procedures
- Embody and promote Leep Utilities\’ core values in all decisions and behaviour
- Identify and raise process improvements and efficiencies with the BAU Water Senior PM
Role Specific
- Liaise regularly with Southern BAU Water Project Managers to plan and align site visits against client whereabouts and project timelines
- Conduct regular on-site audits and inspections of adoptable clean water assets
- Document findings clearly, with photographic evidence, and provide written updates to Project Managers
- Ensure installation works meet all regulatory and health and safety standards (Water Regulations, WIRS, CDM, etc)
- Ensure all operatives and contractors hold the appropriate qualifications and accreditations
- Provide consistent guidance and advice to SLPs, developers, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle
- Support PMs with onsite commissioning works and document any issues or non-conformances
- Assist with project snagging works, ensuring timely completion to required adoption standards
- Support the PMs with reporting progress against client build programmes and internal milestones
- Ensure new assets are installed to a standard acceptable for asset handover to the Asset Management team
- Monitor compliance and escalate risks or issues where needed
- Conduct site-specific risk assessments and POWRAs in line with company H&S policies
- Where required, support the full management of Water Projects in the BAU portfolio
- Attend regular meetings with the Senior Water Project Manager and relevant Water Project Managers to review progress and identify issues or blockers
About You
Essential
- Experience in clean water utility installations and regulations
- Working knowledge of NAV processes and WIRS/SLP environments
- Confident liaising with contractors, developers, and clients
- Strong understanding of Water Regulations, Health & Safety legislation, and audit procedures
- Self-motivated, organised, and confident managing your own workload
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, alongside strong IT and reporting skills
Desirable
- 5 years’ experience of working in Project Management or Team Supervision capacity within a SLP or Water Company
- Demonstrable experience of the design and construction of potable water infrastructure
- Experience working with DNOs, IDNOs or on multi-utility sites
- Familiarity with technical design review or variation processes
- Knowledge of asset adoption and network commissioning
